'Event Kittens' Beat the Bartender
How about this for a great fun night or a novel team building exercise?
We arrive at your chosen venue (or one organised by us if you prefer) with our own fully stocked portable cocktail bar.
Our flair bartender instructors will divide you into teams and teach you how to mix popular cocktails, accurately free pour shots of liquor and even have you throwing a few flair bartending tricks - with shatterproof bottles of course!
We then pitch the teams against each other with some cocktail making tasks and the team with the most points wins.
But for the last task you are given the opportunity to beat the bartender. Each team, and your head bartender, is given a bag of mystery ingredients and asked to use them to create their own tasty cocktail.
A judge is selected and asked to blind test the creations. The best team wins, but if you manage to beat the bartender then you are awarded with an extra special prize.
Cocktail mixing, plenty of sampling and relaxed team competition makes for a real fun event. Although it promotes a novel approach to team building, it is essentially an entertaining experience which is also fantastic for a night out with friends, rewarding staff or for a hen night.
Beat the bartender can also be staged in conjunction with a meal with tasks being held between courses and the drinks selected to complement the menu. It also teaches skills which will remain with guests and will be guaranteed to reappear as a party piece or used as the basis for entertaining their own friends.
A mix of male and female bartenders would run your Beat the Bartender event.
